I suppose I should begin this editorial by letting you know I have now had my second COVID-19 vaccination! I know I am part of a growing number of those afforded increased protection from the virus, and as we continue on the roadmap out of lockdown this is a comfort, especially as I'm someone classed as highly clinically vulnerable who has been essentially locked down for 16 months.
