As we know as prescribers, antibiotic stewardship and appropriate prescribing of antibiotic therapy to reduce this incidence of resistance is an often-focussed field of research (Zhu et al, 2021). In this open access article in the Journal-Antibiotics, the authors look at trends in the prescription of community antibiotics before and during the first wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, focusing their review on data available in England.
